Our Most Urgent Need: Prayer

My heart is heavy as I write to you about the current situation in Haiti. I just returned from an emergency trip to Haiti where I met with my staff and children to prepare for the serious crisis ahead.
Over the next several days we are expecting a surge of roadblocks, gun violence, political protests, and even kidnappings. People in Haiti are desperate for peace and we are on our knees in prayer for God's divine intervention.
Recently, in our town there have been endless gunshots, pillage of businesses at the market and around town, and multiple buildings have been burned.
We humbly come to you asking for prayers for:
- Protection, wisdom and safety for our children and staff.
- Pray for the unrest to stop so that our school can resume, local businesses and banks can open and our community can return to normal.
- Pray for a peaceful transition of leadership and for peace to cover Haiti.
It is our mission to care for vulnerable children and we are committed to serving them, no matter the circumstance. Because of your support, we will continue to be a beacon of hope.
Thank you for being part of the work we are doing to impact the lives of children in Haiti. Your support makes a difference.
