What We Do
After you have signed up as a Won by One sponsor, you can expect your Won by One Sponsorship Kit to arrive in the mail within 7 to 10 working days. Your kit will have a picture of your child, details about your sponsorship and more information about Danita's Children.
You may also receive regular updates about your child, including new photos to see how your child is growing. Occasionally you may also receive letters from your child, depending on the age of the child. We will translate these if it's written in Creole.
For more information...
If at any time you would like to receive information about your sponsored child or children, you can always contact our offices and our Won by One staff contact, Roxi at roxi@danitaschildren.org.
Our website is the best place to keep updated about Danita's Children in general. There is always a lot going on in Haiti - with the children in the school and orphanage, new orphans that we've rescued, campus and program expansions, and, of course, any political or weather-related updates. With our new website redesign, we think you will find it very easy to visit periodically or to link to our RSS feed of the ministry updates on the home page.
Please sign up on the home page for our eNewsletters. This has become our quickest and most effective way of getting news to sponsors and donors in case of emergency prayer requests, along with regular updates.
We look forward to partnering with you as you make it possible to rescue and care for the orphans in Haiti!
