We are pleased to announce
that we have once again received
Charity Navigator's four-star rating!
At Danita's Children, Hope for Haiti Children's Center, we value financial accountability and integrity in our practice of managing the donor's gifts to the highest good. We are pleased to say that in 2008 we received notification that we were once again awarded a four-star rating by Charity Navigator. Eighty-seven (87) cents of every dollar given went directly to program expenses to rescue and care for the children.
Charity Navigator is an industry standard for evaluating and rating charities based upon their financial health. The rating is made based upon the percentage of the donor's dollar that is put toward program expenses, balanced with administrative and fundraising costs. A four-star rating means that the charity "exceeds industry standards and out performs most charities in its Cause". (Letter from Charity Navigator > view pdf)

"Charity Navigator salutes your charitable efforts. Receiving four out of a possible four stars indicates that your organization excels, as compared to other charities in America, in successfully managing the finances of your organization in an efficient and effective manner." -Aziza Musa
